My name is Tiara Gamez, and I am the Owner and Executive planner of Events to a T. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I took my passion for the arts and creativity, and channeled it into event planning. It was through this that Events to a T was founded in 2013. I have now had the pleasure of working with over 100 couples, each of whom continue to inspire me and help me grow as an event planner.

In the past, I never found myself getting too emotional at weddings, but after having my son Julian, that definitely changed. Now, I find myself tearing up multiple times throughout the day. The mother/son dance has become one of my favorite moments because I can't help but think about my little guy and this moment he and I will hopefully  share one day.

When I am not planning events, you can find me planning my next adventure with my family or at my favorite Milwaukee hangouts like Camp Bar or Black Sheep. I also enjoy running long distances, binge watching Netflix, cuddling with my two dogs Murphy and Ralphie, and spending time with my husband, Torie and my son, Julian.

Emily Riordan

Director of operations

My name is Emily and I’ve been with the Events to a T team since 2015. What I love most about ETAT is the family-like relationships we have with each other and with our couples. It makes the experience of planning that much more special. Seeing all the little details come together and creating a magical experience for my couples and their guests is truly so rewarding.

My favorite wedding day moment is the few seconds before sending the bride down the aisle and all the excitement & anticipation that moment holds. I am there fluffing her dress while calming her nerves and each time the doors finally open to send her down the aisle my eyes tear up. It is such a special moment that only a few people get to see which I feel blessed to be part of.

When I am not planning events you can find me being active with my little furbaby, Hadley & soon to be hubby, Ray. From our morning walks to get coffee or hours out on the lake, we are always on the move. Ray & I also have a deep love for music which is why you’ll find us at all different genres of concerts all year round.

My name is Andrea and I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Communications. I always knew my passion was event planning and had hopes to one day make it a career! Now having been with Events to a T since 2014, that has become a reality and it truly is a dream job.

What really drew me to event planning and our company specifically is our couples. Over the course of planning one of the biggest days of your life, I form such a strong bond with my couples, it ends up feeling as if I’m marrying off some of my best friends! My favorite wedding day detail is just that, the details! I’m very sentimental, and I love adding those special touches throughout your event to make your wedding unique and personal to you and your guests!

When I am not planning events, I’m crafting or redecorating my home, while my sweet furbaby Lobo sunbathes on our deck. When not on our latest travel adventure, you can find my husband and I in our favorite place, our kitchen, blasting music and searching for that next great recipe!

Senior Planner & Client Experience

Molly Schmelling

senior planner

My name is Molly! I have always loved planning events (started with themed sleepovers, now we’re here!) and began planning larger scale events while studying Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I quickly realized that becoming a wedding planner would be the perfect tie between my detail-oriented mindset and compassionate personality. This dream led me to begin working for Events to a T in 2017.

Events to a T is unlike any other company I’ve worked for. We pride ourselves on the family-like culture we create within our team, and with our clients. You’re hiring a wedding planner, and gaining a new best friend. Win, win! My favorite wedding day detail is the emotion. You’ll always find me tearing up at some point in the day, typically during First Looks and First Dances - I am so thankful to be a part of such an intimate day between friends and family!

When I am not planning events, you can find me planning my next vacation… Next on my list: Germany! When I’m homebound, I enjoy socializing with friends at my favorite Milwaukee spots or snuggling on the couch with my pups.

Haley Abbate

EVENT PLANNER

My name is Haley and I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a degree in Journalism, Advertising/PR and Media Studies. Planning is something I have always loved from a young age. Whether it was planning my brother's birthday parties, to making a seating chart, menus, and placecards for Thanksgiving dinners, it has always been something I enjoy. I am happy to have found this career that has so seamlessly aligned with my passion for planning, and to be able to plan weddings is the cherry on top!

My journey with Events to a T began with our sister company, Sound By Design. I was a photo booth attendant and loved seeing how much joy there was in the couple and their guests. I quickly realized I wanted to do more within this company, and was introduced to the wonderful ladies of Events to a T. I could not have found a better group of women to learn from, and I am proud to be a part of this team!

When I am not planning events, I love spending time with my family, friends, and my fur baby. I am probably planning my next vacation, or binge watching Gossip Girl.

Bailey Petitgoue

EVENT PLANNER

My name is Bailey and I love all things wedding and design! My background is in the beauty industry, but my passion has always been in planning. I also love love, so when I found Events to a T it was the perfect fit. To build close relationships with people while we help them plan the biggest celebration of their lives is an absolute dream. My favorite moments during a wedding would have to be the first looks or the vows. I love the very special, but intimate moments between every couple that they get to share on their special day. When I’m not planning events, you can find me designing and decorating my first home, spending time with family and friends, or traveling.

EVENT Assistant

Sophia Wentz

EVENT Assistant

Hi, I'm Sydney and I am thrilled to be with Events to a T! I am very passionate about creating extraordinary experiences and bringing creativity to life. In 2019, I graduated from Marquette University and pursued a career selling residential real estate in Chicago and Milwaukee. I have always had the itch for planning large events and figured, now is the time! Transitioning into the event world has been a natural progression for me, especially with the support of this wonderful team.

The best part about planning a wedding or any event, in my opinion, is getting to know the client and curating the event to their style. Whether they are edgy, preppy or somewhere inbetween, it is a pleasure to help their elegance shine and vision come to life.

When I'm not at a wedding, you will likely find me out at the lake house hanging with my family! I am also a huge theater junkie, so when it's below 30 degrees, I'll be in the audience at whatever shows are in town.

Hi! I'm Sophia, an Event Assistant and Project Manager at Events to a T. In addition to this role, I am currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I have loved being able to merge my background & education in marketing with working hands-on at events.

I was drawn to Events to a T because I've found that nothing motivates me more than meeting new people, developing relationships, thinking creatively, and exploring new places! Events to a T has given me the opportunity to work with a team of exceptional planners not only to learn from, but also to have fun with throughout the whirlwind of event days.

One of my favorite pastimes is figure skating. During competition season (luckily the opposite season as wedding season!) I will be travelling across the country competing with a team of 16 other skaters. If I'm not in class, at an event, or on the ice, I'm usually trying new places around the city with my friends or at home struggling to decide what I want to watch on Netflix!
